Vintage Cooks Goldblume Beer Tin Litho Sign Self Frame

Up for auction is a wonderful vintage beer sign advertising cook's goldblume beer. Sign measures 21 wide by 13 tall. This is a self framed tin sign with a cradboard backer. Vintage black americana scene of a black mammy and a black waiter with a man in the background smoking a cigar.

I am not a sign collector but recently took this sign to a show to get feedback. I had a rather knowledgable amn in breweriana tell me this sign rated an 8.5 to a 9 in condition.

The colosr are bright and vivid. View all the photos. The only wear can be seen in photo below the cook's beer logo and there are is scratch and a marr on the black waiter (these do not show when sign is hanging) as can be seen in photo, there are some small specks of white paint on the face which i was told would come off easily, but i will leave that to the new owner. Sign reads above the black waiter de boss sho' likes his cook's near the bottom right side of the sign it is initialed f.

The back side of the sign is cardboard and also in excellent condition. It maintains its original chain hanger and in a square it reads to keep this sign clean and bright wipe the surface of it every thirty days with a damp cloth.
