Hampden Ale Massachusetts Vintage Flat Top Beer CansThe item up for bid is a lot of two hampden ale vintage flat top beer cans. This beer was manufactured in chicopee, ma, the same city i live in. I don't know too much about the brewery, but it was started around 1868. I 've seen the green acns before but not these. These cans were found in teh crawl space of my home. I don't knwo how old the cans are, but my house was built anywhere from the late forties through the late 50's. We are not exactly sure. We have never researched it before. The cans are in excellent shape. There is very slight rust (looks like tarnish though) on the plain metal color part of the cans. There is a one slight ding on each of the can. The graphics are in excellent shape. Only the dust has been wiped away and the top fo the can looks shiny. The rest is pretty much explanatory. Thanks for checking out my listing. On nov-17-08 at 052019 pst, seller added the following informationsince i ve listed these items i've added more pictures because of peoples interest and many emails i have received. The photos make the tops look almost new, but there are noticeable marks on the top. I just wanted to let peolpe know to look at the pictures very well before bidding. I want the highest bidder to be happy with the items and to let people know these cans don't look exactly 100% new however, they are in nice shape.
